How this tour treats your details
Last changed 11 October 2026.
Who collects your details
Site Social Ltd makes and runs this tour, and collects what you send through its form. Site Social Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under number ZC229625. Write to info@sitesocial.co.uk about anything in this notice.
The estate agent or developer named on the form, and in the consent line beside its box, receives your details from us and handles them under their own privacy notice.
Before you send anything
Nothing about your visit leaves your device until you fill in the form and press Send. While you look round, the tour keeps a note of what you look at (the rooms you stand in and for how long, the places outside, the floor plans, any measurements, any finish photos) in the page's memory only. It is gone when you close the page, unless you send the form.
The tour sets no tracking cookies and gives you no visitor ID. There is no analytics script and nothing from an advertising or social network. The only things it stores in your browser are these switches and marks, none of which identifies you and none of which is sent anywhere:
roam-quality-mode(localStorage): that you turned Quality mode on in the Details card, so it is on the next time you open a tour here.roam-quality-loading(localStorage): on a phone, that a tour is loading in Quality mode; cleared once it has loaded, so a page the browser had to close for memory opens in the plain mode instead of failing again.roam-quality-off-note(sessionStorage): a one-line note to show once after the page reloaded because the graphics failed with Quality mode on.roam-still-sharp(sessionStorage): on a phone, that the sharper picture for a still camera was showing; cleared when you move, so a page the browser had to close comes back in the plain picture.roam-hints-shown:<property>(sessionStorage): that you have seen the welcome screen for this property in this tab, so a reload goes straight to the tour.roam-360-hint:<property>(sessionStorage): that the "Move to return to 3D" hint has been shown once in this tab.roam-leads-shown:<property>(sessionStorage): that the viewing-times offer has come up, or a form has been sent, for this property in this tab, so the offer is made once.roam-xr-progress:<property>(localStorage): only on the VR test page (a tour link ending in ?xr=1, never the tour itself): how far its automatic run has got and the frame rates it measured, so a run the headset had to close shows where it stopped.
Anything in sessionStorage goes when you close the tab. Your browser also keeps the tour's own files (its pictures and 3D data) in its cache, as it does for any website. Author mode, which only the people making a tour open, keeps one more: roam-plan-guide:<property>, whether the floor plan guide is shown while a tour is being made.
Like any website, the server that sends you the tour's files sees your IP address as it does so. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes it to deliver the pages and to protect the site, under its own terms. Site Social Ltd keeps no record of who visited.
What is sent when you press Send
One request goes from your browser to this site, carrying:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number and a message;
- the consent line as it was shown to you, and the moment you pressed Send with its box ticked;
- a summary of what you looked at in the tour: the rooms you stood in and for how long, the features and places you tapped or looked at outside, the floor plans and floors you opened, the panels you read and the camera moves you played, the measurements you made and where, the finish and 360 photos you opened, the sun view and the area map places or links you used, any download you took, whether you shared a view or followed the builder's link, and how you arrived if it was by a shared link;
- which brand of the tour you were in, how long the page had been open, how many features you had tapped, the address of the page that linked you here if there was one, and the way you came to the form (the button, a download, a room question).
If you then tap any of the three optional questions (your position, finance and timing), a second request carries those answers and a token that joins them to your lead, and nothing else. From what you send, the site works out one rating of how keen the enquiry looks, for the agent to read. Nothing else is read from your device: no contacts, no location, no other sites.
Who receives it
The estate agent or developer named on the form. Site Social Ltd stores the lead in its own database (on Cloudflare) and makes a private page of it for the agent at an unguessable address that is never indexed. Where a lead spreadsheet has been set up for the agent, the lead is added to it as a row and the agent is emailed from it: that spreadsheet and that email run on Google's services, in Site Social Ltd's own Google account, and the agent receives the email. Nobody else receives your details, and they are not sold or used for advertising.
Why, and on what basis
So that the agent or developer can contact you about the property you were looking at, and with what you looked at so they can answer you well. The lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box that reads: Send my details and what I looked at in this tour to [the agent or developer named on the form] so they can contact me about this property.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@sitesocial.co.uk, and by telling the agent. Withdrawing it does not affect what was done before, and the agent may keep a copy under a basis of their own, which their notice explains.
How long it is kept
Site Social Ltd keeps a lead for as long as the property is on the market and up to 3 months after it is sold or withdrawn, and deletes it when that time is up. Two smaller things are kept for less: to limit junk, a salted hash of the address the form was sent from is kept for 24 hours (never the address itself), and the token that lets your answers join your lead lasts an hour.
If you write to Site Social Ltd from Roam's own page
The contact form on this site's front page is Site Social Ltd's own, not a tour's. Pressing Send enquiry sends who you are and what you would like (the two choices), your name and email address and, if you give them, your company, phone number, the property's address or postcode and a message, with the consent line as it was shown to you. Nothing about any tour you looked at goes with it. Site Social Ltd stores the enquiry in its own database (on Cloudflare) and adds it as a row to its own spreadsheet, on Google's services in Site Social Ltd's own Google account, which may email it to Site Social Ltd's own inbox. It is used only to answer you, on the basis of your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw by writing to info@sitesocial.co.uk. It is kept for as long as the property is on the market and up to 3 months after it is sold or withdrawn, and to limit junk a salted hash of the address the form was sent from is kept for 24 hours. Nobody else receives it.
Your rights
You can ask Site Social Ltd for a copy of your details, to correct them, to delete them, to stop or restrict their use, to have them sent to you or to someone else in a usable form, and you can object to their use. Write to info@sitesocial.co.uk; we answer within a month. If you are unhappy with how your details have been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, by phone on 0303 123 1113, or by post to Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
